A Handful of Dust

Welcome to a new podcast about Neil Gaiman's The Sandman. We plan to cover all of the collected editions from the main run of 75 issues and possibly some of the spin-off titles as well. We are a father and daughter team who share a love for this fascinating comic full of stories.

The first episode will be released on Friday July 10th, 2020

Content Note: The Sandman series deals with and features some particularly dark and troubling subject matters and we have discussed them briefly and in depth in this podcast. Here is a list of some of the subjects that feature in Book 1, Preludes and Nocturnes:

• Extreme violence, including graphic depictions of blood. 

• Homophobic language.

• Drug abuse and addiction. 

• Sexual assault and rape.

• Self inflicted harm and violence.
