Welcome to a new podcast about Neil Gaiman's The Sandman comic. We plan to cover all of the collected editions of the main run of 75 issues and maybe some of the spin-off titles as well. We are a father and daughter team who share a love for this fascinating comic filled with stories.
Content notes: The Sandman series deals with and features some particularly dark and troubling subject matters and we discuss them in this episode. Here is a list of some of the subjects that feature in Book 1, Preludes and Nocturnes:
Extreme violence including depictions of blood
Homophobic language
Drug abuse and addiction.
Sexual assault and rape.
Self-inflicted harm and violence.
